New Zealand
New Zealand is situated in the South Pacific and has a population of around 4.3 million. Agriculture contributes to about two-thirds of exported goods in New Zealand with exports valued at over $15 billion p.a. New Zealand's high proportion of winter sunshine hours and considerable rainfall provide an ideal resource base for pastoral agriculture, forestry, horticulture and hydro-electricity generation.
Everywhere we travelled, there were farms. I visited, dairies, vineyards, berry farms, fruit orchids, venison farms, beekeepers and drove past farms filled with wheat, barley, oats and maize. The little vegetable stalls are abundant through the farming land and packed with some of the best produce that I have seen.

Breakfast radishes, for chef!
The best Maori potatoes. Our host brought down a pot of cooked Peru Peru for our breakfast. So creamy and flavoursome.
The dairy.
